Technology, its continual reinvention and fast obsolescence has been the enabling mechanism and carrier for richness and is today acting as the catalyst of this rich poor divide, just as the ability to read and write (the access and money to be taught) was the restriction in the past.

The cost of technology has effectively prevented small and medium business from obtaining and having knowledge and richness, just as access and money prevented a person from obtaining the tools to acquire knowledge a hundred years ago.
